This one day workshop will cover the basics of wire weaving along with some structural variations so you can make whatever forms you can dream up. Each student will leave with several small pieces that can be used as references for future work, and the skills to make larger more complex forms going forward. No previous experience is required.
All materials and tools are provided. Class size is limited to 6 students to ensure lots of time for individual attention and assistance with personal projects.
The class will run from 10am to 4:30pm with a 1.5 hour lunch break from 12:30pm to 2pm. Students are welcome to bring their own lunch and eat in the park across the street, or check out one of the many restaurants within walking distance of the studio.
